I'll start translating this.

I put up the translation for the previous chapter, but it still needs cleaning and typesetting: https://safe.yuri-project.net/res/23401.html

Here are some suggestions.

In addition to those I've marked in the attached document, I generally think it's good to replace vertical ellipses with horizontal ellipses where you can. I don't think it's worth holding the release up over, but I do think it makes the reading experience smoother and provides a more cohesive look.

I've suggested a lot of changes to lining; I think there are a few other places that might use some tweaking, as well, but I haven't marked all of them, and it's often difficult to be able to make good suggestions just by eyeballing things. If you haven't seen them already, I think Red Hawk Scans' guide ( https://fallensyndicate.wordpress.com/typesetting-tutorial/ ) and Anon Black's guides ( https://translatoranon.tumblr.com/tagged/typesetting-guide ; the site that had this guide in a more user-friendly format seems to have gone down and isn't coming back ) provide excellent guidelines for shaping text and provide a lot of good examples.

Here's a second round of suggestions.

It looks like your font sizes vary noticeably in places. The rule of thumb is to try to stay at the same size, with in a couple pts, in all the text balloons (except when text is obviously larger in the original for shouting, whispering, or something like that). I don't think you need to redo all the text in this particular chapter, but it's something to keep in mind going forward.

Also, I took a closer look at the links I provided earlier, and I see that they could have been better. The images on the Red Hawk Scans guide, probably one of the most valuable parts of it, are broken right now, but you can still see a version with the images preset courtesy of the Internet Archive: https://web.archive.org/web/20190316162230/https://fallensyndicate.wordpress.com/typesetting-tutorial/ . I think these two are probably the most important to keep in mind in terms of text size, the thing I highlit above: https://web.archive.org/web/20190316162235im_/https://i2.wp.com/i61.tinypic.com/2jg084h.png https://web.archive.org/web/20190316162242im_/https://i0.wp.com/i58.tinypic.com/33fdr2u.png

Additionally, the tag I linked to on Anon Black's guide didn't actually include all the posts from her typesetting guide. It's really unfortunate that the Pair is Pretty Anon website is down (and has been for over a year now at this point, I believe), because it had a much more accessible presentation of her typesetting guide, which I believe is very valuable. If you instead look at this tag, you can see all the pages in her typesetting guide, as well as other guidelines for scanlation topics: https://translatoranon.tumblr.com/tagged/guide/page/2

Thank you for your work.

This is much better. I think we're almost ready to release. The only things that stood out enough to change were a couple details:

Apparently/he was/quite/rambunctions. -> Apparently/he was quite/rambunctious. (Change lining, avoid inverted triangle)

A/sofa.../? -> A/sofa...? (Question mark on same line as ellipsis)
